Joy Brownstein

Joy Brownstein is the managing director of Be Cause Communications, LLC. She has more than 25 years of experience bringing people and ideas together. She develops and executes creative and actionable healthcare marketing strategies and multi-channel content to promote organizations, products, advocacy groups and clinical trials. Known for her collaborative and disciplined management style, she orchestrates initiatives to achieve clients’ reputational, corporate communications and marketing goals.

Joy’s work has won numerous awards, including the 2014 Gold SABRE Award for Best Public Education Campaign of the Year for the T2 Dance Crew, a diabetes campaign for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, in partnership with the Diabetes Hands Foundation and the television program, So You Think You Can Dance.

 

At Be Cause Communications, LLC, Joy works with a carefully curated network of corporate and marketing communications specialists to create and execute customized programs and multi-channel content to deliver projects on time and within budget.  

For many years, Joy has been an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), including as a trained advisor in the HBA Ambassador Program, a leadership development program for high potential executives in top tier HBA corporate partners.  

Joy graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in psychology.
